I’d like to give thanks to D. Vincent Baker and Meguey Baker, John Harper, Tim Cain, Mike Pondsmith, and Gary Gygax. As far as the interactive aspect of Unnatural Wonderland, without these creators and their work, this work would simply not exist.

I’d also like to thank James Cameron, John Carpenter, George A. Romero, George Lucas, Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, William Gibson, Philip K. Dick, George Miller and Byron Kennedy, Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz, Jim Henson, Jhonen Vasquez, Peter Jackson (specifically as a writer, but I do also like his movies), JRR Tolkien, Kurt Vonnegut, Tim Cain and Mike Pondsmith again, Josh Sawyer and John Gonzalez, Jeffrey Crawford “Lazlow” Jones, Leslie Benzies, Sam and Dan Houser. Their works have inspired me since I’ve been able to behold them.

    About the Author
Bound by divine orders from the cosmos, the Unnatural Publishing House was destoned to rise. My colleagues had chosen Los Angeles California, of all places, to find aspiring talent to publish. So we set off to Earth. As ethereal beings it was quite difficult to make meaningful contact with artists in today’s modern age. We did make some wonderful friends on the streets, however a good portion of them could not withstand our calling and have since been driven to madness. That’s ‘our bad’.

We found Robert J French by strange coincidence, standing on a soap-box outside of LA’s 7th Street/Metro Center station, harassing the locals with violent rhetoric. We noticed he carried a tome of ramblings, so naturally we assumed he would be a perfect candidate. After following him back to a coffin-sized room in a deplorable roadhouse in Eastside Long Beach, we attempted to make contact. Myself and a colleague had assumed human form to present our offer. Although when we knocked on his door, our presence seemed to disturb him. He answered quickly, enraged in a state of utter delirium. He refused to hear our words, loudly proclaiming “I SAID I’LL HAVE THE MONEY NEXT WEEK, I’LL HAVE THE MONEY NEXT WEEK!”, while brandishing a pistol. The local security forces arrived and apprehended him shortly thereafter and took him to a holding facility. Fortunately, we were able to liberate him from his confinement, in exchange for his tome of mad ramblings. After some editing, the ramblings have been presented for you here. Please allow the content to blossom from within and grow naturally as intended.

Robert J French was born and raised in an urban Massachusetts town on the Northeast coast. From a young age he was driven to the dark-arts. He attended a local academy and was graced by the coven. Despite his status he gravitated towards crime and villainy, using his aptitude to attunement for selfishness and destruction. By his teenage years he had risen the ranks of the local crime syndicates. He led a gang of cohorts that enforced their will across Essex and Middlesex county. His life of crime had come to its end when the local constables had descended upon his gang of henchmen. By divine intervention, Mr. French was spared, but his villainous crew was not as lucky.
Left to wander alone, separated from his family, he was forced to work day-jobs, his ill gotten gains all but squandered. In his redemption, he harnessed his rage against the wicked rulers of humankind, lashing out at the established enslavement. As an adult he swam in the eternal sea. Fighting and challenging ideas as a political rouser.
After being expelled from multiple para-military organizations, Robert decided to repurpose his energy. Driven by an eternal madness to finish his tome, he writes. After years, his travels had brought him to a desolate motel, infested with vermin, where he scribes his tome by candlelight. He told us the Eternal Madness speaks to him directly, and frankly, we believe him.

If you would like to help us enhance Rob’s living conditions, consider making a donation to the Unnatural Publishing House. As ethereal beings, we have no use for funding. ALL proceeds go to the author.
